SEAN MALSTROM

In other words, the future of the political
analysis business will be destroyed ...

SEAN MALSTROM is yet another analyst going against the grain .. in most intertesting fashion.
I’ve checked my email, and I have over a hundred new messages. And I can’t get to anything resorting to ‘Sean Malstrom’ due to real life situations. Luckily I changed my career gears long ago. But my old profession of political analysis is going to be absolutely destroyed. I still think McCain will win the election and do so by a larger margin than Bush did in 2004. When this happens, a hurricane of outrage will be unleashed at the political analysis business, mostly the pollsters. People will demand to know how they could be so off. In other words, the future of the political analysis business will be destroyed as their reputation will become destroyed in the upcoming days.

I dont think McCain can win, because radical lefties and youngs never vote and this time they will, but if McCain wins, be sure that the media wont do selfcriticism, lefties are impervious, they will start an enormous campaign telling us how racist american people is! that's the soviet way

Except that business has the same attention span disorder as the financial analysts.

The guys who predict worldwide financial meltdowns every two years or the ones who predicted $200bbl oil or $5,000/oz gold are still out there pluggin away at new books.

In six months, no one will remember a word that any of the political analysts said and they'll be working on their next books too....

They were wrong last election too. Let's not forget how exit polling (which is supposed to be more accurate) was used to call Florida for Gore in 2000.

The same a-holes are still in business and will still be here when we start the next presidential cycle in 2-3 years. They are like weather forecasters-they still get paid even if they are wrong.

From now on I will no longer look at toast and other objects in the same way as I have before. I will now add Obama to my list which includes Jesus and Elvis. BTW, is word verification playing games? the letters 'hogro' is displayed.

From Ambinder at The Atlantic:

Hello, this is Jeff Blodgett from the Minnesota for Obama campaign. Our initial data shows this election is significantly closer than the polls predicted. We are putting out an urgent call for volunteers... We are organized groups to knock on doors at five P.M., or earlier if you can, for our final GOTV operation."
