I could use a new toaster, but I don't think my old system could take all that rich food and drink at those 'bonus' parties......Nope..nope, I'll decline.

A variation on his joke made the rounds in the late 80's. Make a deposit in a bank in Dallas and you got your choice of a toaster or a drilling rig. They ran out of toasters.

Then there's the one about the Polish Bank promotion: Deposit a toaster and get $10,000.

Hey Roger-
How's your search for the couple of trillion dollars that the Fed can't -or won't explain- going? I am thinking that if you were able to find it in a warehouse in Chicago or the trunk of a car in St. Paul, you could be a national hero. Or at least have a pretty damn big collection of toasters.

Heck..I don't need to be rich...I've always said "I don't want a mansion in the valley, I just want a little 'shack up' in the hills. (stolen)

From Hot Air: On Sunday, the Associated Press found that $1.6 billion of bailout cash was converted to gravy for 600 bankers. They got bonuses, club dues, financial planners, corporate jet travel, daily limousines and home security systems, courtesy of the taxpayers…........There..Now don't we all feel good about helping....Nah. I know we don't.
