Only One of these is parody.
Which one?

The XOM story is true-just shows how crazy we've become when the world's largest energy company thinks a carbon tax is called for.

Surely if the ancient Romans are looking down on us they must be...I don't know, doing whatever the Romans did when they couldn't believe their lying eyes.

EXXON is playing politics ...

"At a Dec. 11 event in Chicago, Tillerson, 56, said he preferred a carbon tax to carbon trading programs such as the type used in Europe."

It's de facto recognition that our leftist gummint will impose a global warming fix of some type, because they want the revenue. Where's Guy Fawkes when we need him?

I'm disappointed that Exxon's throwing us overboard in favor of stockholders, but they have a fiduciary responsibility to do just that. It's ours to dispose of this commie gummint by whatever means works best. Dibs on Al Gore here boss.

Rodg, you must realize this: Exxon, like all large corporations, love regulations. Regulations are the anti-anti-trust, by which I mean, they squeeze out the new guys, the up and comers with new ideas and better, faster ways of doing things.

Corporate America donates heavily to the Democrats for this very reason.

I think corporations donate to political parties, especially democrats, out of fear and self defense. Did you ever read "Hill Rat: Blowing the Lid Off Congress" Highly instructive in this regard.

Haven't read it. Did just now ask Amazon to make it available for the Kindle (don't blame me, it was your link to the coupon that coerced me).
