lips are moving

liars
My wife likes to watch PBS news and I sat through as much of the on air commentators as I could trying to convince their audience Sotomayer wasn't really a liberal and we should wait and see how she does in action.

That's good enough for me.

I'm against her.

You should have seen David Axelrod trying to s'plain to us proles that Sotomayer didn't really say "make policy" at the Duke conference in 2006.

Why get in front of a camera and tell us what someone said and then lie about what they said?

Why not just say something like the president overlooked that statement and felt that it was a slip of the tongue and not an actual judicial policy?

Why lie about something so obvious?

It is clear to me that Axelrod has just set the tone for judicial nominees by telling the world he is perfectly willing to lie to advance his agenda.

He should be held accountable for his words and we should start with Sotomayer.

Axelrod may come to rue his appearances on TV. He is a behind the scenes kind of guy, preferring to have puppets (bho) to manipulate rather than appear himself. However, the lure of the camera has sucked him in. He is a Biden,Jr when it comes to gaffes. If Rove were evil, he'd resemble the esteemed Ax, IMO.
