La Raza Agitprop

"THE RACE"
It is past time for all Americans to know what is at the root of this outrageous behavior, and the extent to which the nation is at risk because of "La Raza" -- The Race.

WaPost - June 12, 2009
It's been ages since I perused a print edition of the WaPost.  The way you would in a waiting room.  With nothing else to read except Newsweek.   Which I did plenty of last week.   I swan, this Condorville strip, which I'd never seen before in my life, is just one of several items I circled with the intention of  showing you.

There's  a difference between elitist smug liberal, which this has plenty of, and the out-and-out agitprop falsehoods it also contains.  Pretty cheeky that, defending Soutermayor's membership in a group calling itself  "The Race."  A name that immediately brings to mind ... what?  That's right.  That other group what thrived on racial pride, and intent  on regaining lost land historically theirs.

I know what you're saying.  "But Rodge, it's only a comic strip."  Hey - we're talking about a party which member's primary news source is  Jon Stewart.  BTW, note this passage from a 2006 Human Events piece on La Raza
The Council of La Raza succeeded in having itself added to congressional hearings by Republican House and Senate leaders. And an anonymous senator even gave the Council of La Raza an extra $4 million in earmarked taxpayer money, supposedly for "housing reform," while La Raza continues to lobby the Senate for virtual open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens. Human Events, 04/07/2006  (The Truth About La Raza)

I wonder if that anonymous earmarker was Chicago Jesus?  Don't you?  And, here's the link you were looking for - the one about La Raza, and groups like MeCHA and Atalan which operate under its umbrella.

I am Fluent in Spanish.

I mistaken for Russian, German, Pick-a-scaninavian when people try to guess my ancestry. Nope-Portugese-Scot. And if you saw my Mom you would say "You came from her?" my sister used to say that I was adopted just to make me feel bad.

Spanish speakers tell me to stop talking because it is weird to see such a gringo gringo speak spanish as well as I do.

Anyway, when I was in college I tried to join MEChA. I thought it would be fun like a mexican themed club.

Couldn't be further from the truth.

I spoke to the club leader whom I knew from High screwl and started talking to him in spanish. Vacant look on his face. Didn't understand a word of it.

OOOkay. So I asked what the club did. He told me that they wanted to reestabilsh Atalan.

I asked what was that.

He told me that it is an ancient civilization blah blah blah that reached from Mexi-hell-hole to Canada.

Basically they want the western 20 states back that we conquered/paid for.So, over throw and turn the west into a sh!thole. Is basically what they stand for.

He mentioned LA RAZA too. Well, who else was going to inhabit Atalan? The Perfect Race.

I haven't spoken to him since.
