I spent three hours at my local IRS office yesterday. (Just for the record, each and every one of the civil servants at that office is a wonderful and gracious human being.)
There were thirty people in the waiting room and two agents working the windows. It was odd seeing the glow on the faces of the taxpayers when their numbers were called because it meant they got to talk to an IRS agent.
If the Feds run hospitals the way they run the IRS, sick people will die of what ails them long before they are seen by the triage nurse.
"You have an abdominal aneurism? Is next Thursday at 8:30 AM good for you?" -
