 Our granddaughter (2) called yesterday and asked if Reagan was in Heaven.  Yes, yes she is we said.  Today we got this card from her.

If you don't begin immediately to spoil the ever-lovin' beegeebers out of this precious angel I may well resign as self-inposed Surgeon Admiral of this here Barn Army.

Playing with grand babies ain't like playing with a great dog, but it will get you through till you're ready to give another pup a shot at stealing your heart.

My condolences to you and your family on your loss. Been there myself more than once. Time might heal, but the memories will never fade.

Somewhere out there is a pup that needs you to be its "buddy." It won't need a "master" any more than you'll need a pet. You both will need each other, and you both will know it when it happens.
