HooRay, Hooray, this is one for the ages. Who'd have thunk it, even two weeks ago? Now, I deliver a senator, a representative, and a governor for Ohio (not kidding this time Rodg, really mean it).

Yes. I just wish that the "swimmer" could have been kept alive just long enough to see this.

The GOP benefits here, certainly, but the Republican Party had nothing to do with this Teabag victory.

Intellectual exercise: Imagine Sarah Palin was president and a democrat won by 5% in a traditionally conservative state. How would the press be reporting THAT??
Brown/Palin 2012
Gotta run and pop open the Gran Marnier and listen to the sweet sound of millions of liberal heads exploding.. Ah, it is GLORIOUS!!
Bullseye

Let's not get carried away. From what I've gleaned in just a short time, Brown is Rush Limbaugh by Massachusetts standards. In Oklahoma, he's more Susan Collins than Sarah Palin. In 2012, Palin will head the ticket, or is not on it. The way I see it anyway.

Well, common sense has already run Sarah Palin as #2. This is one filly we need to let go of the reins on, and let her run full speed. Hell yeah, the US is ready for a real "woman" president. Not one that engenders special meals at KFC.

On my way in to work today, I was listening to Chris Stegall.
He played a clip of John Freaking Kerry during the concession speech last night.
OMFG.
I SCREAMED at the radio.
He said, I am paraphrasing here:
Tax cuts are not targeted.
If you give a tax cut to an individual, or small business, then there is no guarantee they will invest the money. There is no guarantee that they will invest it in the United States, or at all. Government, yes Government, is the only one who can make sure the money is invested in programs that work......
HE DOES NOT GET IT. THEY STILL DO NOT GET IT!
It's called Liberty, Freedom Senator. I earned that money. It is MY money, not yours. If I want to spend it on a big mac, porn magazine, or set it on fire, guess what I SHOULD be able to. Because it is MINE. Not yours. That is what the US is all about. It's none of your damned business what I do with it.

Roger- It seems that the Republicans were quietly giving Brown a 1/2 million bucks over the last 2 weeks. It was kept on the low down so the Croakly camp wouldn't get suspicious.
As difficult as it is to believe, the RNSC actually may have done something right for once.
And Spunky Texan sums it up real well. That's the difference between them and us. - 1/20/10, 10:54 AM
