I remember a Thos Sowell (?) article about the US stealing the GDP of an African continent nation. Turns out that the total GDP was about 30 seconds worth of GDP of the USA.
That makes the concept of 'stealing a country' or its product, is about as realistic as worrying if you dropped a penny when you left the grocery store -- last september...
