For the purposes of political expediency, Republicans under GWB were responsible for the largest expansion of Medicare since its initial inception. I was DISGUSTED with GW over the Kennedy Compromise in regards to medicare/medicade. The whole reaching across the aisle thing always made me sick. And the spending.
