I don't know about Utah, but here in Columbus, the recession is on. We had some snow a few days ago, nothing like I grew up with in Cleveland, but several inches. Since then, there's been a procession of folks traipsing up to my door offering to shovel. Not all kids like back when I did it. I'm talking grown men. Friendly enough, but the sense of desperation is palpable.
(Before anyone chimes in, yes I did pay $20 to the first guy that showed up, but it's dropped a few more inches since then.)
