Newsweek...Mad Magazine....Al Gore....Alfred E. Neuman....the distinction is blurred, although Mad Magazine has more accurate reporting.
In Newspeak, thinking = scheming.

Check the areas where it's snowing. Greater chance to find him there.

You missed this issue, Rodge, because it came during the holiday season and immediately before the issue with the particularly hot pic of Sarah on the cover.
Wonder which issue sold more copies?
This cover perfectly illustrates the reason for Newsweek's colossal loss of 50% of its circulation in a 12 month period.
I picked up (literally) the issue with Sarah on the cover (with the objective, neutral title like "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Sarah?"), but I simply couldn't make myself spend $5.00 on a mazazine which was paper thin.
By being such a complete mouthpiece of the DNC (almost to the point of making E.J. Dionne appear objective), Newsweek has even further marginalized itself to the point of virtual irrelavance.
Perhaps Paul Fineman, Evan Thomas and Fareed Zakariah (sp?) can't see the proverbial forest for the trees, but Newsweek is on virtual life support at this point.
This is, of course, 6 or 8 months after the complete magazine format and newsroom restructure that Newsweek orchestrated in a veritable Hail Mary (genuflect, Rodge) move to try to save the sinking vessel that it has become.
But it will all be too little, too late and sooner rather than later.
The even better news is that Time will follow suit within a year or so after Newsweek's all but certain demise.
