Yeah, She was doing some pretty stupid things with it. It looked staged until the firecrackers went off. If anything he told her, here is the gun play look stupid with it, and then he stopped there and blew it. Like PD says, hard to fake terror.

Observe someone who has no clue how an auto pisto1 works and has less clues about the lethality of guns handle one when they think no one is watching sometime. NOT staged. If I had been the cameraman my nuts would still be up under my ribs.
I'll wager that after the mad wears off, she'll pay more attention next time. He told her not to mess with it.

He said he had been showing her how to handle a gun. He should have told her to keep her booger-plucker out of the trigger guard and off the trigger unless she was ready to fire the damned thing. Those two are Brady Campaign statistics waiting to happen.

You don't tell someone to not touch something and then leave it in front of them.
You either secure it, or you show the person how to deal with it properly.
Making something a mystery object encourages monkeying with it. Then scaring the person for doing what comes naturally only makes that person angry at you, and makes that person fear the object.
A complete and total dumbass ... someone I wouldn't want near me at a firing range. -
