Spent a year at MCAS Iwakuni down the road from Hiro. Also lived in Detroit in the early 1990's. The difference, the Japanese place the highest regard on honor of the family. There is no self, you live to do honor to your ancestors. You bring them honor by living an upstanding life of hard work, dependability and respectability.
Conversely the "democrats" that live in Detroit celebrate the exact opposite of Japanese cultural discipline. They revel in their sloth and dishonor. They should never be allowed to move South, to defile another culture. -
