Senator Barbara Boxer: “serving in the military is like being a member of Congress" ... and please call me Admiral Boxer. I've worked hard for that, ya friggin swabbies! |
scream-of-consciousness; "If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."

Methinks the Admiral is ready for a keelhauling...OK, any odds on how she'd fare crossing the equator? Bet even Davey wouldn't want her.

Really???
Then why were some of my shipmates on food stamps and getting gov't cheese and milk to feed their families???? Are there members of Congress on food stamps? I'm not really seeing the connection here.....

The last time, to my knowledge, that significant numbers of our military were on food stamps was during the first Obama Administration (1977-1981). I'm just saying.

I served from 1985 to 1992, and it was still common for lower-ranking enlisted to rely on food stamps, etc. Hard to feed and house a family when your pay is not congressionally worthy...
