Sorry, the NRA is a one issue group and Harry Reid has been a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. His opponent is not. IF Harry is voted out, imagine Chuckyou Schumer as the leader of the Senate and what he would do with gun control bills.

I think it's because Reid got a $61 million earmark for a gun range in Clark County, Nevada. You say Sharon Angle does not support the Second Amendment? From whence that info? And yes it's true that Schumer would prolly replace Reid, but what if his reelection was the pivotal seat that allowed Democrats to keep a senate majority, a very possiblity? Bottom line for us Tea Partiers is do the right thing; bad people out, period. Reid is a crook, a liar, and a genuine bad person.

The NRA is a one issue organization, gun rights. I believe that their policy is to back the incumbent if both candidates are acceptable on that issue.

SG, nothing wrong with being a one issue organization if you remember to use their endorsements only wrt that issue. Of course, as a voter, it is important to consider many issues before deciding that the Repuke is once again the lesser of the two weasels.

How can single issue advocacy trump principles? I don't care what Harry Reid thinks about anything. He is a person with no character or honor. Has the NRA no shame? It would be hard to give up my membership as I am a certified NRA instructor but this would push me, and I suspect many others, over the edge.

Agreed that Dingey Harry has no honor. WRT that, how do you know he'll "stay bought?" What happens when the party's Big One is tied to something that stomps on gun rights? Which way is Harry gonna vote? With principle, or the party? The question answers itself. No. If you can't trust a man on one thing, you can't trust him on anything. Vote the bastiches out.

What Senate Majority Leader Schumer would do is drive his party further into the dirt.
