Find me one which does the same for 35mm slides and I'll kiss MoSup's ass.
I just bought the Woot! Panasonic 12MP Digital Camera package. It list new on Amazon for $329.99. I have an old Panasonic FX9 that has been great for snapshots and videos. I've carried it in a cell phone case with a belt clip, every day, for at least two years and used it nearly every day. The zoom lever is no longer working correctly and I'm looking forward to the Woot! buy as a replacement.

Amazon has four pages of them. Just search for "film scanner." Many less than $100. They typically will scan positive mounted slides as well as negative film strips. Come with holders for either.

I recieved this unit last Christmas and I'm very happy with its regular photo scanning. The 35 mm slides thingy requires you remove the film from the mount(plastic or cardboard), which requires a lot of effort. I ended up renting a carosel projector and took pics with a USB camera.
Just don't try to scan any (important) body parts in it, Rodge.
I took my slides to COSTCO. For .15 each, they transferred them to a CD. I had previously spent $150 on a scanner to transfer them. It took forever to transfer them to digital. I am very satisfied with the transfer COSTCO did for me.
Oh really? Which Costco location charged you .15 for a service which is supposed to be .29 across the entire chain?
