This is 99 72.4 % hyperbole, but when I was a kid and didn't eat my broccoli,  mom scolded, "You know, for every bite of food you waste, someone in China dies."  Of course the Chinese intervention in Korea was still a live memory, so we kids made a habit of spitting out our last bite of food.  Now that we're broke,  it may be a good idea to quit worrying about every feckin country in the world, where people would rather live in squalor, and fear, rather than sacrifice for their own damned democracy.  Kennedy started this crap with the Peace Corps, and Jimmy Carter institutionalized it.  It might be WJWD, but we ain't Jesus.  Democrats just think they are. Sheesh.
