Al Gore Explains 'Snowmageddon
"If the number of Islamic terror attacks continues at the current rate, candlelight vigils will soon be the number-one cause of global warming. " |

The other night, I dozed off while watching the Ten O'Clock News, and I had this dream. I dreamed that AlGore was stranded on an ice floe with the last surviving Polar Bear on the planet. The visual faded as dreams do, but the audio increased. I heard lots of loud growling and panicky screaming. When the vision finally cleared, the ice had a definite pink-red color to it, AlGore was nowhere to be seen, and the bear looked like he could use a good anti-acid.
Ah, the things that dreams are made of! As my old Gramps used to say, "If wishes were horses, we'd all have manure!" - 2/4/11, 1:06 PM

Al Gore is a sparsely educated, over-privileged, misdirected, eternally complaining, self-indulgent, condescending jackass whose daddy opened doors through which he stumbled. He is a greedy, materialistic, hypocritical flim-flam artist of the type which follows ambulances with his bag of snake-oil remedies to sell to the victims.
The United States, not to mention the rest of North America, as well as the entire English-speaking population of the planet was indeed fortunate to have dodged the bullet when he nearly became PotUS 10 years ago. Mankind would be much better off if he relocated to Ganymede. - 2/4/11, 2:17 PM

Three things killed Al's hopes and dreams:
1. When he was caught letting his SUV limos run for hours while he lectured.
2. When people found out about his 100ft. houseboat and mansion that burned more energy than a small town.
3. Soth Park's "ManBearPig" episode

Yes to those three, but there was more. His many refusals to debate with anyone knowledgeable was duly noted; blogs like James Watt's that pounded away in detail the warmist's every contrivance, and finally the revelation that the "hockey stick" data was falsified, and subsequent findings showed them for what they were; mostly academics, liars, who wanted the easy grant money, and leftists who wanted to use the "crisis" to control the world's economy. But mainly me. I told everyone, ad nauseum. I want a Nobel.

Nature doesn't give a flying fig what AlGore believes
or what the EPA puts in a regulation,
and he doesn't get a vote as to what Nature does. - 2/4/11, 5:15 PM

Wonder why 2010 tied as the hottest year on record despite what your senses tell you? Well, they stopped making adjustment for heat contamination due to urbanization.
http://www.energytribune.com//articles.cfm/6440/Is-It-Really-The-Warmest-Ever?
... In the original NOAA US data base called USHCN version 1, NOAA (Karl 1988) used Oke’s work and others to develop an adjustment for urban heat island contamination. The combination of longer term station stability and this adjustment made that data base (1221 climate stations), the best in the world. The data showed cyclical changes with warmth peaking in the 1930s and a cooling that bottomed out in the 1960s and 1970s and a modest warming thereafter falling short of the heat of the 1930s warm peak....
... Indeed James Hansen in 1999 remarked correctly about this plot “The U.S. has warmed during the past century, but the warming hardly exceeds year-to-year variability. Indeed, in the U.S. the warmest decade was the 1930s and the warmest year was 1934.”
NOAA and NASA had to constantly explain why their global data sets which had no such adjustment was showing warming and the US, not so much. NOAA began reducing the UHI around 2000 (noticed by state climatologists and seen in this analysis of New York City’s Central Park data here) and then in USHCN version2, released for the US stations in 2009, the urban heat island adjustment was totally eliminated which resulted in an increase of almost 0.3F in warming trend since the 1930s.
David Easterling, Chief of the Scientific Services Division at NOAA admitted in one of the NASA FOIA emails: “One other fly in the ointment, we have a new adjustment scheme for USHCN (V2) that appears to adjust out some, if not most, of the "local" trend that includes land use change and urban warming.”...

Who cares what al gore, the bore, has to say anymore. He discredited himself quite a few years ago. And, viewing the frigid temperatures and snowstorms across the nation, it looks like God's smirking whilst sending a big reality message to the world about climate change. Jeez, I'm with George Carlin...we think we are so important and so relevant and that little tiny eco-activity/changes on this little tiny ball orbiting in this universe is going to make a huge difference. Hahahahhahahhahah.

Here in Tennessee, with the exception of one pu$$y communist co-worker, EVERYBODY I know thinks Al is a dumb@$$ joke and "climate change" is a scam. Buy food, boys. It's fixin' to drop off COLD for the next 50 years and Odumbo and crew are just going to make things worse.
