Hope she enjoyed the hint of urine in her wine. One witness is said to have heard Jerrit say, "Hmmm, this wine has a slight wang to it!"
Brigadier Major Mike
Officers are by nature gentlemen, but he should have said "good go get it." I would have went got it and dumped it on her head.

He was an officer and a gentleman. with a effing huge amount of tolerance for assholes.
And you KNOW she knew he wasn't a waiter.
I'm about to say something racist. Ah, never mind. I suppose she did know better but just couldn't help herself. Even if the "lady" isn't a lady the gentleman will always be the gentlemen. As you know who always says, "It's why we win."
Hmmmm, really interesting that she is so beloved that she got ratted out. Also interesting is that this story about her has gone "viral" as they say. Could be she is being prepped for the underside of the bus.
Was not a case of mistaken identity, he just kissed the ring. Do not assume that real soldiers rise to the Generalship, it happens rarely. He will have a new command soon. Remember, the Generals today were the bird Colonels that made nice with the clintoon pentagon.
I wonder how The Great Santini would have handled it.......
I remember reading the book and laughing so hard when he "puked" cream of mushroom soup and then ate it that my sister lost her place during her piano recital. Following your link I see that only what, 74% loved the movie? Peasants.
The puke and eat scene is what got me to wondering how he would have handles Jarret. The movie is available on Netflix (not instant view though). I watched it again a few months ago.
If she had done it to me, she would have been wearing that glass.
But then again, I'm not an officer, and not a gentleman.
Check out Chris Muir's take.
