 The boy was kidnapped Friday. It was unclear when he was killed.

The incident comes amid a recent wave of attacks on local officials who are considered anti-Taliban. Less than two weeks ago, Ahmed Wali Karzai, Karzai's half-brother and a provincial council chief in neighboring Kandahar, was killed in his home by a longtime bodyguard.

I read that CNN article three times and not once could I find the words Muslim, Islamist, Islam, or terrorist, the writer, David Ariosto however call then "militants" at least twice. Hey David... GROW A SET, you metro sexual wuzz.

By avoiding the word Muslim the dummies also avoid the word Pushtan.
This is the tribe of trouble makers in the Afghan, Pakistan region that everybody else really, really dislikes. It has been estimated that if they were brought under control you'd see about a 50% drop in violence. Of course they way they have been "controlled" in the past is to wipe out villages and families to get their attention, and bring their population in line with their resources so they are less likely to raid. This large scale attitude adjustment won't happen in these times but on a small scale and with the costs of many innocent lives it will happen. That is unless the kill the wrong Chinese in Pakistan.
