In a way it is a pity that I don't watch MSNBC, because I can't enjoy the fresh pleasure of not listening to them. Yesterday I took National Review Online off of my bookmarks. They are supposed to be conservative but the reference to tea party congress reps as "vain, obtuse, and etc." was the last straw for me. Their site can get some hits from someone else, the good writers they have don't make up for the editorial sloppiness and the snark from the in house RINO's.
This is a struggle with "establishment" Republicans as much as Democrats. It is a revolution.
Rodger we await your orders to water the tree of liberty but we are growing impatient.
How much more can we tolerate of the BS?

Toadold, I question your action.
My typical workday I wake up to NPR news, listen to NPR in the shower, then drive to work listening to NPR. At the office, I quickly open up Yahoo news headlines, Drudge, then NYT, WaPo, Columbus Dispatch.
It's only then that I meander over to the Professor, Lucianne, NRO Corner, Wretchard, and Powerline.
To be followed by Ace, Gerard, Althouse, Driscoll, Blair. Soon enough I'm at IOwnTheWorld and C&S, SondraK, and points beyond.
My point is that it's essential to acquaint one's self with the spectrum of opinion. Do you really want to disallow NRO and Steyn, Goldberg, Hanson, et al. from perhaps influencing you? Does Thomas Sowell no longer make sense?
Doing so will marginalize you into a Paulian/Randian mindset such that you don't recognize the massive win Boehner and crew are achieving. The Dems are playing rope-a-dope, and Obama is no Ali. You want to let the perfect become the enemy of the good without realizing the art of compromise. The Tea-Partiers are rightfully trending the country and if this is played properly, 2012 sees us electing a new President and it's morning in America again, rather than mourning another 4 years.
With respect, Toadold.
About that "massive win Boehner and crew are achieving?"
What will he win? Boner made ZERO attempt at real and significant budget cuts. Win? What? Public Opinion? Both Gingrich and Bush 43 tried to play that game, but public opinion, then and now, is controlled by the media.
Had Republicans taken the high road, settling for nothing less than, at least, $1.2T in REAL and immediate cuts, at least it would have been a battle worth fighting. If Republicans win everything they have on the table, they will have won nothing. Balanced Budget Amendment? California has one of those.
I truly think this is a time for revolution in government, and I don't want the GOP establishment on my six.
I say this respectfully.
Rodger, I'm at a point in life where I'm up to the eternal vigilance thing, although I do nap a bit.

Sir Rodg, The Real Klingon of France (™ Gerard):
"You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes you get what you need."
The oily Reid and his goombahs are about to send this bill back to the House, sans BalBudgAmend. The battle is then back on. Boehner will because he must reach across the aisle to get the votes needed to increase the debt ceiling.
Please keep in mind, this isn't what we're fighting for. Repeal of Obamacare is. Ridding this country of the Depts of Education, Agriculture, and some several others is the goal. Stopping the EPA, SEC, and the wookie from their nannyish regs is the brass ring.
Roll the bones, take what we can get now, and recognize this is naught but a skirmish.
Sincerely yours.
