scream-of-consciousness; "If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."

"If the number of Islamic terror attacks continues at the current rate, candlelight vigils will soon be the number-one cause of global warming. " |

And when it becomes TOO organized it may lose focus. Lots of good ideas turn into self licking lolipops after awhile.

It is the natural tendency of man to be the boss of me. So to speak.
When we hear Harry, we reach for our Ghandi: "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win . "
The Tea Party will fade away. This will happen after the likes of Harry Reid are known to have been dead for decades and their graves stained yellow from their "admirers"
"The Tea Party has become somewhat less popular over time, even before the current debt crisis," said Carroll Doherty, Assistant Director of the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press. "
I can't imagine that the guy from Philidelphia doesn't understand the Tea Party and what it represents.
I don't put much stock in Pew's polling, but I wonder where he thinks all those Republican freshman in the House and Senate came from.
The RNC certainly had nothing to do with it - other than being the serendipitous beneficiary of the Tea Party efforts and movement.
I don't align myself with the GOP and plan to vote against Bob Corker for U.S. Senator in 2012 and against the GOP's Presidential candidate if it's Mitt Romney,__________ (empty space left in honor of TPaw), Newt (no threat here, even if all the other candidates died), Huntsman or any of the other clowns who may have an interest in the job.
I would vote for Perry, Bachman or Palin, but I can't think of anyone else I would vote for in 2012.
No more McCain, Dole, GWB (2004 edition).
But let's face it, the guy from Pew has never even voted for a GOP school board member, so his trying to get inside the mind of freedom-minded Americans is tantamount to a trip abroad for him.
It's going to be a long election cycle for him, I believe.
In politics, if you're not rubbing some people the wrong way and stepping on their toes, you're not doing it right.
