Flash Mobbed in Monkey Co.

Maryland My Christmas Tree

Flash mob robs DC-area 7-ELEVEN...

Not quite what I call the DC area. Germantown is tucked 25 miles north in Montgomery County Maryland. It was, the last time I was there, rolling farmland with pricey homesteads abuilding. Montgomery County is uber rich, very uber liberal, and uber white.  I wonder if they're blaming the Tea Party for this insult to their lifestyle?  If this happened there, nobody in the state is immune.  Marylanders are prohibited from using firearms to protect themselves, unless the barbarians are actually in the bedroom brandishing Mac-10s. Fasten your seatbelts, and keep voting Democrat. It's worked so well for us.

Priceless... 50 seconds in one misunderstood, underprivilaged yoot cleans up after another who so carelessly knocks some chips to the floor. You know, soon government outsourcing as a means of controlling the budget will become commonplace and this type of action will be considered self-administered enttitlement collection.

"...as many as three dozen young people entered... they took numerous items off the shelves... they walked out without paying..",
Let me fix this for you young airhead. You should have reported
"As many as three dozen people, all of them black youths, sometimes referred to as African-American youths, ROBBED a 7-11 in Germantown last night. The local police declined to keep the surveillance tape, fearing being called 'racists' if they investigated the CRIME."

Lance this boil before the infection kills us, please.

Hey now, let's judge them by the content of their character... oh, that's right. Get a rope.

The police said that since they only took items of little value.this would be treated as shop-lifting. Are the cops realy that dumb? What was the collective value? They note the obvious, that this escapade was organized. When people organize to commit misdemeanors and take some action in that connection we have what is known as a conspiracy, a felony. Just blow this sort of activety off and see where that leads.

It appears that we will find out, doesn't it?

It could be the cops have gotten lazy because they know the prosecutors and the judges won't do anything to youths so why work up a sweat. Then it could be since the rot starts at the top the mayor and police chief are just left wing tools.

Next to my desk is a loaded 10 gauge with Double-Ought.

I went through Desert Storm, when the Feds alerted us of possible danger. I instituted security measures I never thought possible, based upon my location; small, rural community; no interest to anyone, at all.

Terror has no concern for your own pre-qualifying status. You can feel safe. But terror exists outside of your own, pre-conceived notions. Terror, indeed, relies upon your pre-conceived notions of your own expectations. It is the violation of your expectations that makes "terror" so terrible.

Apres moi, les deluge.

We aren't the first to face terror. Imagine living in France in 1790-91. Educated, caring, a devotee of what had been enunciated as Liberal, as recently as that which had occurred in the Former Colonies. (Just as "liberal" members of the Duma were shocked when the Bolsheviks first began their imposition of power.)

About an hundred years later, another move toward Liberalism had been overtaken by radicalism. That is, not Liberalism, as suggested by Edmund Burke, but radicalism as suggested by Marx, Engels and other Organicists. Max Weber, for example.

Look. I've had to deal with the social democrats, organicists (except Spencer), Leninists, Marxists, Progressives, Democrats, Leftists, Fabulists, Demagogues, state socialists, national socialists, unionists, generalists, pre-modernists, post-modernists, pre-post-Modernists, and post-post-Modernists for years.

Meditations was written years ago. Mebbe fifty.

But I can't, off the top of my head, find an argument that makes any sense, in criticizing personal responsibility.

Unless we make that statement when referring to our current President.
