scream-of-consciousness; "If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."

Yep! Just like McCain and Dole!

And about 40% of those insiders worked for the Romney campaign; the rest were lobbyists scared of Perry or someone else from the outside breaking their rice bowl.
Screw the GOP insiders. They're another group of bacteria that exist symbiotically in the asshole of Washington D.C.
We suppose the Kamikaze spirit of 'super-conservatives' is to be admired, but as sure as water is wet if the Republicans nominate Manson Lamps Bachmann or Elmer Gantry Perry we will be looking at four more years of bling.
2 words. Romney-Rubio.
Bobby Ahr
Romney-Rubio? Maybe so. They can take turns having their strings pulled.
If you like Romney, then why stick him on the ticket with a conservative? Romney-Huntsman makes more sense.
From what I've read Rubio wouldn't touch Romney with a ten foot pole let alone run for office with him.
Rubio has very little love in his heart for the Washington and North East crowd after they attempted to shaft him in his primary run for office, on top of the ideological differences he has with Romney.
Jess's bacterial comment pretty much says it all better than I can.
These are the same idiots who find a Gingrich candidacy plausible and who jumped on McCain, Giuliani et al. like a duck on a junebug.
I was pleased to see that Perry didn't load up his team with a bunch of the McCain alumni.
To the contrary, they are alomost all Texans, although a few of them worked with GWB at some point in time.
But it certainly doesn't appear that he is surrounding himself with RINOs and neocons.
So, of course, these insiders are stressed that they will soon be joining the ranks of the unemployed.
The represent the GOP's failed past.
The Tea Party and its sympathizers represent its future, if it is to have one.
Romney is Dole/McCain the GOP will become useless if they do that. We need a conservative.

Neither Romney or Perry will be on the ticket GOP ticket in in 2012 ... unless one of them happens to run as Sarah's VP.
