On March 18, 2011, to cheers and applause, the host of HBO's Real Time called former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin a "dumb twat."

Then, according to the Dallas Voice, while performing at the Winspear Opera House nine days later, Maher called Palin a "cunt."

If slut is so offensive to Wasserman Schultz, shouldn't "dumb twat" and "cunt" also be?

Apparently not for on January 13, 2012, the Congresswoman appeared on Maher's HBO show.

Wasserman's permanent record gets fatter ...

Where the hell was debbie commie-water-carrier schultz when David Letterman called Sarah Palin's 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER a slut one night and a whore the other... and followed that up with an obviously sarcastic apology.

Rodger the Real King of France said...: The rules are, I guess, that this blog is pretty much a neighborhood bar. Everyone gets to say whatever the hell they want, subject only to peer evaluation (comment censure - or in the bar owner's case, de-linking).

These people are elected officials (Wasserman-test), newsreaders using the public airways, or one of the numerous, otherwise unemployable, miserable shits given sanctuary on HBO. Either way, in the polite society we once were, their behavior would be reprehensible. They do have rules.
