Welfare cheat

       WHAT GUMMINT DOES

Res Ipsa Loquitur
A New Brunswick GA. woman noticed her $400 purse was missing from her car,
and with it a wallet valued at $200, and $800 in cash.  And her food stamp card.

The value of welfare has actually exceeded more than just entry-level paychecks.  The Heritage Foundation recently published a report showing “the average individual who relies on Washington could receive benefits valued at $32,748, more than the nation’s average disposable income of $32,446.”  According to Heritage’s calculations, “government dependency jumped 8.1 percent in the past year, with the most assistance going toward housing, health and welfare, and retirement.” [Human Events]

Merrily sent me the only news clip of this "too good to be true" sounding story that I've seen posted on several blogs.  I think it's true, but the point made about welfare is valid in any case..

...and as an average, we pay bureaucrats over twice that amount to steal it from us so they can give it away.

Not only has the wheel fallen off the cart, it's on fire, the horses are spooked and it's all headed for a cliff.

Personally, I work too hard for my money to leave even 8 bills anywhere but on my person.
And where did a food stamp recipient get that kinda money and a gucci purse anyway?
