"The federal government does not have authority to come down into the states and to control its land," Bundy said. When Kelly asked Bundy why he doesn't go through the courts, Bundy said, "The plaintiff is the federal government, yet the prosecutor is also the federal government...there is no proper redress." Watch the interview above and sound off below! ca 1990—A Maryland man was charged by the EPA for filling in a section of lowland on his property that swamped-up after heavy rain, rendering it useless for farming.  He did, however, dig a ditch on another section of his land that compensated; or so he thought.   After endless court appearances the man was fined a horrendous amount of money and sent to prison.  It was one of those stories where everyone said WTF?; emphasized with the man; felt he'd been wronged; but did nothing to help.  I still feel guilty that I didn't do a damn thing to outwardly support him, but, you know—I had four kids, a tight budget, and  a sailing hobby that claimed all my free time.  I'd like to think, however, that had some organized citizen militia joined the farmer in his showdown with the gummint, that I would have showed up.  Today I would, because it's near-by. I'm radicalized, and have nothing really to lose.  So I can sit here urging Ammon Bundy on, but do nothing else because it's too far away.  Awhile back I told my wife that if Texas seceded I'd go there, guns in hand, and fight with them.  She said, "no you wouldn't." I'm in crisis.

However, he concedes transporting $1 billion worth of gold bars would be impractical, so he suggests selling the gold and repurchasing it in Texas. Texas Gov. Rick Perry is supporting a bill that would return the state’s $1 billion in gold reserves currently stored by the Federal Reserve at a vault in New York to the state. Capriglione said his bill is, “not about putting Texas on its own gold standard, [but instead will] give the state a reputation as being more financially secure in the event of a national or international financial crisis.” “If we own it,” Perry told Glenn Beck last week, “I will suggest to you that that’s not someone else’s determination whether we can take possession of it back or not.”  [FULL] First off, I had no idea that states, at least Texas, have their own gold bullion stash.  Second is the question of whether the actual physical gold still there?  Former Rep. At The Cinema                            Government- The Last Enemy “ ; I started watching 'The Last Enemy' last week.  Watched the first episode,  and got as far as Matthew Good's intro to episode two, and stopped.  I mean what the hell, we're living this.  It's where we're at right now.  To put a finer point on it, listen to the episode four intro (I began watching again last night).  As a commenter below mentions, it gets a bit slow at times. The protagonist in played by Benedict Cumberbatch,  who also plays Sherlock Holmes in SHERLOCK, which I immensely enjoy.  Here's episode one;  the other four full episodes are also available on You Tube. Matthew Good As an aside, Headhunters is Swedish subtitled, but so were the "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" movies.  Headhunters is equally gripping.  Trust me.
