Obama is the most insidiously evil person (not a man - more a boy) to ever claim the oval office. To get rid of this evil clown will not be easy but, it is absolutely essential to freedom everywhere. The muslim in chief fully intends to destroy our system of governance, freedom, economy and value system. Progressives over the past 60 years or so have eliminated God from schools, destroyed the family, moved God out of our lives almost entirely and if you tell them this they counter with "we are all good christians" meme. They have lied, cheated and stolen what they could not honestly earn and will stop at nothing to ensure their power. They will not give up and we MUST destroy them and their power base if freedom is to reign. Hitler and Stalin had nothing over on these despicable, evil vermin. I know what I do to vermin - do you? I know we have to watch what we say and the walls have ears but, it is time somebody really starts to use their own tactics against them.

I don't see any of the MSM picking up on the cognitive dissonance here. The ruling junta are encouraging us to buy electric cars and otherwise move from fossil fuels to electric, even while they're closing down existing plants and making it nearly impossible to open new ones.
I'm just a music teacher, so I could be missing some technical aspect of this that makes the whole thing rational.
Anybody? ...Bueller?

Bolivar is absolutely right in his comment above. Dennis Prager, the national talk show host, recently wrote that the United States was founded on what he calls a "holy trinity": Liberty, In God We Trust, and E Pluribus Unum (for many, one). However, with the onslaught of the Obama administration (or "abomination, whichever), Prager's "holy trinity" has been bastardized into an "unholy trinity". There is little to no liberty, they have all but outlawed God in just about every facet of our lives and there is nothing about the Obama administration to trust, and E Pluribus Unum (for many, one) has been altered to read "E Unum Pluribus (for one, many).
Also, the Constitution, you know, the scrap of parchment that The Emperor Ayatollah and Shyster General Holder the Contemptible continually ignore and trash every day, says there are three branches of our Government: Justice, Legislative, and Executive. Again, with the onslaught of the Obama regime, the three branches of Government have been changed to In-Justice, little to no meaningful Legislation, and the Executive branch has been made into the Excrement branch.
Governor Romney hopefully will turn all this around, but we all know it will be an uphill battle all the way, especially if the Republicans fail to get the Senate back out of the grubby paws of Scary Harry Reid and his Dumocrat minions. Romney my or may not be a good President, or a great one like Reagan was. But he will never be as bad as the Emperor Ayatollah is. He is well on the way to making even Jimmy Carter look halfway competent. And until Obama got in the White House in January, 2009, I never thought I would be able to say that.

Marshall County, WV - Kammer Plant is one of 11 owned by AEP that can't make the costly upgrades in the allotted time frame.
Kammer Plant manager Dan Moyer said there is a lot at stake with the closure.
"It impacts the community tremendously from a standpoint (that) we have a payroll of about $4.2 million and we pay property taxes in the area of about $1.7 million," said Moyer.
On top of that, roughly $620,000 is given to state and local taxes, and 60 jobs will be affected by the closure.
Also, local businesses are expected to feel the heat.
"There are so many different suppliers for that power plant, so there will be definite cutbacks in a lot of commercial businesses throughout the area," said Dave Knuth with the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce.
Possibly one of the biggest concerns is the effects on customers. A potential increase in the cost of electric bills is not the only thing on the minds of AEP officials.
"Blackouts is a concern for us," said AEP spokeswoman Carmen Prati-Miller.
What AEP didn't say is that unemployment is very high in the Northern Panhandle of WV and there is a Consol mine opening near the plant to provide fuel - so a good many UMWA members are being put out of work along with the IBEW unionists employed by AEP.
Tell me again why the unions are spending all this money on reelecting our Narcissist-in-charge. - 7/29/12, 4:35 PM

Do not mistake the union membership for union leaders. In a way, belonging to a union is like being a muslim. If you question the "religious tenets," you can be made dead.

Hey, anybody wanna buy a new Nissan Leaf? They run on electricity alone, so no pollution! Isn't that great!
The truth is that the Leaf is coal-powered, and all the pollution occurs out-of-state for the California Leaf drivers, being they get{a pile of} their electricity from plants located in the surrounding states.
The eco-friendly Leaf also has batteries using some of the nastiest stuff to mine, process and form, and will one day have to be fed back into the recycling loop.
But, they sure must be eco-friendly as they don't use that nasty petroleum stuff....
idiots. in charge. writing laws.
Maybe they should spend some time learning something about the science they try to 'regulate'. Ha.
