This
story makes me sick. The
psychology of the unprincipled person who gets scolded by his peers
will often lead him, spitefully, into the arms of the
antis. If John
Roberts is the unprincipled person in my scenario, and he most
certainly is, then don't be surprised to see him going all petulant on
us, and becoming the Liberal Fifth Column on the court. |
scream-of-consciousness; "If you're trying to change minds and influence people it's probably not a good idea to say that virtually all elected Democrats are liars, but what the hell."

O'Connor and Souter don't realize they left the Republican party, not the other way around. I wish the Congress would limit the court's jurisdiction. That power is there in the Constitution, but to my knowledge, Congress has never used it. And maybe Romney should appoint two more originalist Justices to offset Sotomayor and Kagan. After all the Court's caseload is getting very heavy.
