I just got done getting my inner geek on: Felix Baumgardner jumping from 24 miles up. Absolutely fascinating: Combo Evel Knievel, Apollo launches, and sweet beautiful science. Good for him!!! He's Austrian, but this was still

Georgie Jessel was a talented singer and performer. He was up for the title role in The Jazz Singer, the first talkie. The rest of his career was spent trying to prove that the wrong guy, Al Jolson, was chosen.

He's the boss of banality. To progressives, that's extraordinary.

To his credit, he has written a few good songs well covered by others, the guy puts on a high energy concert, but he has only a three note range and can't carry a tune in a bucket. Why anybody would listen to him, politically or musically, is beyond me.

I saw him live right after the Born in the USA album came out and I gotta say, it was some fine Rock and Roll.
Since then, blah

In my view, he's wayyyy overrated as a performer, and someone I spoke with who met him once said he had seriously awful B.O.
And, he's a dope.
I wish he were not from New Jersey. - 10/14/12, 4:48 PM

When I first heard him, I thought he was ripping-off Jackson Browne.
I still do. - 10/14/12, 5:34 PM

I don't think sending Springsteen to Ohio will help.
I lived there when he was at his height and he just wasn't that big a star there. - 10/15/12, 11:04 AM

"shut up and sing." Then go away, we don't care what you think.
