I guess she is calling herself a 'working girl', no?

We are not determining your title, we are haggling over price...

She sold herself, and someone bought. She is a 'pro' now.

tomw

p.s., I was never impressed with her or the Paris Hotel creature. Brainless, ignorant, "Oh LOOK, there's a squirrel" is the grey matter functional level...

TOMW, I fully sympathize. On your feelings toward both Kardashian and Hilton, I do sympathize. But in a sense she is right, she did work for it. What she did and does is garbage for us, but it is precisely mainstream in the age of Obama.

When I grew up, hers were the actions of a juvenile, covered only by The National Enquirer, which was published by a man considered mobbed up. That was Generoso Pope. Housewives bought it at the market, and read it, but even they knew it was nonsense. Today, The National Enquirer is respected for investigative reporting (like the John Edwards scandal) which are not touched by the MSM.

The culture has changed since we were young. We looked up to people like Goldwater and Reagan. Young people today look up to Kardashian (any of them) and Hilton. I don't look up to them, but I wasn't subjected to the vast dumming down process of the last few decades.

Kardashian learns, by the way. She had the very natural urge to tweet a pro-Israel message during the recent Gaza action. She received death threats and denunciations, and so deleted the offending tweet. People today maneuver in a different world than we did. I don't like it, but that's the way things are.

Aside from her sluttiness (well, not totally aside) I always saw in Paris Hilton's face a sort of Whistler's Mother attraction— like "I know what you did." She does sort of pheromone me.

No kidding Skoonj - people used to think before they spoke, and stand by what they say once they say it.
