One more try, I have FIOS too and am seriously thinking of dropping the TV and Phone - 240 bux is a lot for infomercials and crap.
I have blocked MSNBC and even that does not help. The crap is still oozing out.
Want to use OOMA and Dish Newwork and keep the FIOS Internet - it is good. Anybody in the army have experience with OOMA?

Funny you should ask, I bought OOMA over a year ago and set about installing it last week, along with other alternatives. I stopped mid-stream in the config process when it w3as shown that, while OOMA is free, you are still liable for State, and local phone tax, based on the number, Maryland was going to cost $t every month, and for what? Unless I was willing to drop Verizon, which I might do. Anyway, I got into a live chat with OOMA and you can use any state you want, and can just make up an address, The cheapest phone tax is West VA, about $1.10/Month. Nevada is also cheap. So, if I dump Verizon I'll be living in at a W.VA coal mine addy, and have a W,VA phone number - which should impress the gals.

Verizon, previously AirTouch, previously PacTel built the PCS network, and killed the Chechen president. I was a financial analyst for PT/AT back then. All very complicated and government backed. We all walk around with really neat listening devices. Cause we like it.

Yes, and it was CR's first hand advice that triggered me into action. He is currently in South America on Barn Army bidness- destabilizing the Venezuelan economy.
