This case was a travesty from the start. Obama must be impeached (oh, ok, not just for this, but it still should happen). Instapundit has mentioned more than once that this was a politically brought trial to bring out the black vote in 2012. Further, the argument goes that they wanted the acquittal to outrage the blacks enough to come out again in 2014. While it makes some sense, that may be a bridge too far for me.

I thought the OJ trial was a travesty but didnt get upset about it. When the state puts on a crummy case or the cops do a poor investigation I am OK with "not guilty".

how the hell can anyone treat sharpton with even a quarter ounce of credibility after the Tawana Brawley Fiasco???
That guy should be made to wear a clown suit, clown makeup, clown shoes and a honking huge clown nose every time he ventures in public.

I'm not sure I like the tone of this post, Rodger. This is a civil and human rights victory of the 1st order, and cause for jubilation. Why must you sully it with that throwback?
1. Democrats are likely to die if they assault Americans.
2. Democrats are free to shoot each other.
Now I had an interesting convo by the sea this morning. A very nice older lady, who constantly reads her Bible on the beach, asked me how far it was to Sanford. I told her it was almost 160 miles and we were pretty safe on the island. Also mentioned I had signed up for a CCW class and invited her to join me. Then we could do lunch and go gun shopping together. -

The funniest scene I ever seen was obscenely fat(at the time) Al Sharpton, who had gone to Miami to revive the flagging Miami riots...Here he was preaching in a park to his brodarz an' sistahs to keep burning the white devils...however, the brodahz had just realized that what they burned was their own neighborhoods, so all the pickaninnies started picking up rocks and threw them at Fat Alphonse...so, he started running to save his life, followed by the TV crews...and there he was on the tube, waddling from one elephant leg to the other with a shower of rocks bouncing off his bloated skin like off a rolling beach ball!
