Bubble Gum Immigration, Part Deaux

                                           Mexican Invaders

Gumballs

This is an updated (2010) version of one I remember posting several years ago (1996).  Highly effective, but this time around I have some quibbles.  Probably because the nation would have gone bonkers back then, without the 14 years of incremental slide into what has now become the defacto surrender of our national sovereignty.

  1. Roy Beck's demonstration does not mention the number of illegal immigrants who arrive daily through our porous borders.

  2. He infers that the reason our politicians allow a high rate of immigration is for humanitarian purposes.  I have no doubt that Upper West Side denizens routinely applaud their altruism on this score,  but I really don't recall it being offered as a rationale by our keepers. Rather, they only address immigration when the illegal problem reaches a certain pitch, and then shuffle about, pretending to try and  fix it.  They never have, and never will.

  3. "Let's help them there (and not after they've arrive here)"  is how Beck ends his presentation.  That sent a shudder down my timber.  He quite nicely made the point that the immigrants who do land here, after fleeing their Third World homeland, are the very people who, had they stayed, would be the ones to foment needed change.  But Beck's statement sounds very much like a call for us to finance these changes.

I think he means we should invade their country, kill their leaders and convert the rest to Mormonism. Problem solved, no more illegals from that host country.

Roosevelt and Truman should have stopped the flood of immigrants into the U.S. during their respective terms. Then there are those bloody Cubans. Immigrants... Bah! They just suck up resources when they could be agents of change in their own countries. The gumball gimp would concur.

"Gumballs & Scumballs"

The latter being the current republican leadership and their next betrayal of the party base.
