In NY, the bus driver would be arrested for possessing a sawed off baseball bat, kidnapping and not giving the thief a warning swing first.
In a just world, the driver would have swung until the perp's arm was drooping at the new wrist joint halfway up his forearm, then pushed him out at 50 mph as Kim recommended.
