That
WIN 10 ad has violated my space countless times—and
I still enjoy it. The Geico ad below is another that I love.
Otherwise, thank you Fast Forward.

Ron in Ohio Sez:
Personally, I cannot stand to look at any Geico ads. They are stupid and offensive to a person's intelligence - A Limey-talking Lizard? Gimme' a break! But, every time I see one of their ads, and the reason that I immediately switch channels, is GEICO's history of screwing their policy holders whenever they had a claim. The REAL reason that, "You could save 15% on car insurance in 15 minutes" - They cut costs by not paying full value for your claim.
That is the dig by Liberty Mutual without mentioning Geico. BUT - To me, Liberty Mutual is the most egregious of all of the auto insurance scammers (And that includes the Commie owned Progressive Insurance Company with their homely, Flo, the new century's version of the 50's & 60's Josephine the Plumber) because the use of OUR Statue of Liberty as a backdrop for all of their shills with the subliminal message that it's endorsed should be offensive to any loyal American.
Naw! They're all rip-offs or there wouldn't be so many constantly shilling their crap on TV. Allstate, State Farm, Farmers included. Gotta' be a lot of money involved to do that. Think - Mandatory car insurance laws! A treasure trove for the industry and a precedent setter for Obama-Care. I rest my case. - 9/6/15, 2:26 PM

I've been anti-insurance company and anti-bank since I was in my 20s oh, so many years ago.
I finally found, in 1976 or 7, a credit union I liked and I've stayed with it for all these years, through assignments all over the states and a number of foreign countries.
I also found an insurance company (where I also have my credit card) I like, but couldn't join until I made Warrant in '87. That's back to when you had to be an officer (or former officer) to sign up for their insurance.
But I still, generally speaking, hate insurance companies and banks. - 9/6/15, 4:20 PM

If you're talking good ads, I've found that Febreeze has a jingle on iTunes radio (I listen to a station "built around" Rosanne Cash), that is a delightful song. Nicely sung, good melody, not obstreperous. I buy their stuff anyways but I'm made happier to do so by their not assaulting me in the ad.

Little known GEICO factoid : Several years ago, GEICO slush-funded a local development company here in Englewood, CO to create a portable light detection and ranging device to be made available to local police and other law enforcement agencies. This odious piece of electronic eavesdropping (LIDAR) has proliferated across the land, wreaking havoc on the private lives of citizens and their bank accounts. The revenue enhancement schemes brought about by the use of this device border on fascism. And, of course, GEICO claims no conflict of interest with their backing in the creation of this piece of excreta. Vile degenerates !!

Sir H - I selected one of the songs from the "River & the Thread" album and then had iTunes "make" a radio station based on that song. Here's a page in Apple support that gives instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204944

Sir H - It is a modern masterpiece. That it's not better known is a crying shame.
