Long stick, elevate the lens so that it can't see anything at ground level.
I watched two guys do that at a car wash here in P'cola when they wanted to get into the drop boxes to steal the quarters. They didn't know I was watchin from the Elks Club parkin lot.
All they did was turn one camera 90 degrees to the north and the other 90 to the east so that they couldn't see a thing by the vacuum stalls. Then they picked the locks like experts and dumped the collection buckets.
Didn't much feel like gettin my ass kicked, so I didn't confront 'em, but I told the clerk in the Tom Thumb about it. She wasn't sure what to do, so I suggested she at least let one of the County Mounties who come in for coffee about it.
Cameras are now inop, BTW. Cover is gone from one of 'em and the other one is pointing straight down to the ground.
Took off in a Ford rattletruck. -

This is one of the few times that I posted a video using Blogger;s (YouTube) services. They deleted it. It was a video of a guy using a pole to push a spycam's angle so that it took pictures of the sky. Very simple. Very appropriate if the laws in your state allow it, a caveat I clearly stated. Sorry. I deleted my original.
