'Bama/Clemson

Last night's NCAAF champ game the most exciting I can remember.  I crapped pants when Alabama tried an onside kickand pulled it off! Both teams great, but I like Alabama; always have.  The over/under was 50 points; 85 were scored.

It was a great game by 2 teams that proved they deserved to be there by beating a top 4 opponent 10 days or so prior. That onside kick was incredible. This is why having a playoff is so much fun. I can't wait for it to go to 8 (or 16 like every other division does).

Clemson wasn't outplayed, they were outcoached. Great game and I didn't really care who won.

Just saw a video where one of the Bama players stated they practiced the onside kick every week, and were starting to question if it would ever be used. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. I think we can probably trace the Tides' kicking game improvement back to that Auburn game a couple of years ago, when Bama failed on a one-second-left field goal and Auburn returned it 100+ yards for the win.
