Charles E. Schumer of New York, said he expects Mr. Obama to select a consensus candidate who could get bipartisan support and predicted that a “huge public outcry” would force Mr. McConnell to back down.

In a just world, Uhbama, Reid, Schumer, Leahy, Kerry and H-> would be in prison cells where they are subjected to 24/7 recordings of their own howls for filibuster, condemnation and attempted Borking of Sam Alito after his nomination to SCOTUS by G.W. Bush. Kerry actually attempted a filibuster.
It's beyond me how any of them can look in the mirror.
All of them are on my 'flog before hang' list.
