4 down and 500,000 to go. Every damn day my phone rings at the same times, always from different local numbers, and it's always some robocall telemarketer. There is hardly a point of having a phone any longer; real people send text messages only.
I got 7 calls from my own phone number yesterday, and they're at it again today. If I was on the jury I could never vote to convict anyone charged with shooting these people.

If we passed a law requiring phone service providers to block all incoming calls from Asia,80% of that crap would vanish.
Then make it a felony to manufacture, sell or possess a robocall machine or number spoofing machine and another 19% would go away.
But Congress has never been serious about the DNC list, because phone solicitation is one leg of their fund raising.
FWIW, I tell the legal solicitors, real person or robocall initiated, that I will NEVER give a dime to an unsolicited caller's organization.
