Ferguson Rent-A-Mobs Exposed ACORN’s successor group in Missouri has been paying protesters $5,000 a month to generate civil unrest in Ferguson .... MORE is the rebranded Missouri branch of the former Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) which filed for bankruptcy in late 2010. That ACORN state chapter reconstituted itself in December 2009 as MORE under orders from ACORN’s national headquarters. President Obama used to work for ACORN and he represented it in court as a lawyer. (See my previous article on MORE.) MORE has been active in the Ferguson protests and in efforts to free jailed demonstrators so they can continue vandalizing businesses, intimidating perceived adversaries, setting fires, throwing projectiles and human waste at cops, and engaging in the Left’s usual modes of so-called nonviolent protest. MORE believes that protesters should be given a blank check to inflict whatever harm they wish on the community in pursuit of social justice. The unpaid rent-a-mob operatives complain that MORE stiffed them the same way ACORN did to hired protesters throughout its 40 years of radical left-wing rabble-rousing. The ACORN network’s leadership was always predominantly white while its foot soldiers were mostly non-white, a fact that caused tension within the criminal community organizing outfit. It's also a disgrace that ignorant, ill educated felons like Bertha Lewis are  the spokesmen Obama turns to.  In the first place, that Home-Boy coalition she waxes on about is a contrivance.  Blacks hate Asian guts, because through industriousness they own much of the commerce in Black neighborhoods.  For their part, Asians sneer at Blacks, and refer to their welfare checks as "Black Gold."  Hard core West coast Hispanics hate everyone. None of the funds made available under this Act or any prior Act may be provided to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or allied organizations. None of the funds made available under this Act may be distributed to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) or its subsidiaries. [p. 125 of PDF]     Division E - Section 511. None of the funds made available in this division or any other division in this Act may be distributed to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) or its subsidiaries. [p. 279 of PDF] Yet despite the ban, President Obama, who worked for ACORN as an employee and as the group's lawyer, found it in his heart to hand over $79,819 of your money to his thug friends at ACORN. I give you the The American Association for Justice.  Nothing but the name changed, of course.  The AJA is still "Protecting America's Civil Justice System," so long as there are deep pockets to be plumbed. Behavior that earned them public disapprobation continues unabated.  To wit: Trial lawyers launch Union Station ad blitz “ Metro commuters shouldn't expect much feel-good holiday cheer when they pass through Union Station this December. That's because the American Association for Justice has bought up all the advertising space to remind Senate staffers that 98,000 people die each year from preventable medical errors. The group, formerly known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, reserved the space to push back against a now-familiar Republican talking point that limiting the rewards from medical liability lawsuits would make health care more affordable for everyone. Republicans have seized on the potential savings to doctors and patients from capping these rewards as another reason to put strict limits in place as part of the health care overhaul. Mr. Towns, a New York Democrat who also received mortgages from the unit that processed the VIP loans but claims he received no favors, has opposed such a subpoena. Taking On the 'Democrat-Media Complex'

James Taranto's Interview With Andrew Breitbart: Taking On the 'Democrat-Media Complex  is a keen read.  Aside from learning where Breitbart: came from (all I knew was one day all of Drudge's linked stories seemed to go to his site), there's a delicious back-story on the masterful ACORN depantsing-by-video.  And here, I think, is a truth more damning than ACORN's criminality.  When aspiring film-maker James O'Keefe showed up with those ACORN videos, Breitbart knew instinctively that  "the mainstream media, given this information, would not cover it and would, in effect, attempt to cover it up"   The mainstream media is totally, utterly in the tank with kindred Democrats.  “ This plan wasn't just a means to defend against the media's desire to attack the messenger," Mr. Breitbart says. "It was also a means to attack the media and to expose them . . . for the partisan hacks that they are. ... Every step of the way, we wanted to plant traps" for Acorn and its defenders, ” Taranto, in closing, is compelled to gently upbraid Breitbart for going outside of strict (now utterly corrupt) journalism guidelines. “ While Breitbart-style opinionated journalism can provide healthy competition, it cannot substitute for straight news. ” I'll leave you to chew on that logic without further comment.  Hooray for Andrew Breitbart, and hooray for us.
