Left’s Love Affair With the 4-letter N Word

Hitler's Mustache

“That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons that history has to teach.”
- Aldous Huxley

I like quotes.  Quotes are wisdom for those with short attention spans.  They are disregarded by many as irrelevant platitudes or obsolete; however, they are knowledge, often hard-earned and considered by their authors to be important enough to be passed on.  I’ve chosen the above quote for today, not only because it is always relevant, but because we bear witness to a time where the political left of this country is trying to realize Aldous’ dystopic “Brave New World” (which I’m reasonably sure he meant as a warning, not a blueprint).
To this end, the left has slandered any group that has opposed their fundamental (Socialist) transformation of America, and they love one name more than any other: Nazi (the 4-letter N word).  But how accurate is this?  What traits do the political left and right really share with this infamous party of villains?

Let’s first discuss what exactly it was to be a Nazi.  Nazi is short for Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers’ Party); as the name implies, they were socialist and staunchly anti-capitalist.  This contrasts sharply with the Republican’s, Libertarian’s and Tea Party’s pro-capitalist anti-socialist viewpoints, but does align quite nicely with the current Democratic Party platform.  In fact, if you compare the Democrats with any other Socialist Party (e.g., UK Socialist Party – http://www.socialistparty.org.uk/), you will fine very few philosophical differences.  This is also demonstrated by Obama’s support for Occupy Wall Street and various other anti-capitalist movements.

THE DISCUSSION

I am forced to conclude that the political left in this country throws around the name Nazi, not because they believe that anyone they call one resembles a Nazi, but because they desperately need to draw attention away from the terrifying reality that they themselves are becoming the new Nazi party.

Without exception, every generation considers itself to be the smartest generation to have ever existed (despite clear evidence to the contrary).  I wish this one would realize it isn’t, and try to learn something from history. (The Full Monty)

Darryl Blonski's article in GUN NEWS updates an argument made by Ayn Rand and others that Nazis ( Fascism) and Communism are the same beast, differing only in how they control the means of production (and even now Red China and a reemerging communist Russia have put production back into private hands).  Tossing in comparisons (I added the Communist line for emphasis) with Democrats, Republicans and the Tea Party makes a point that cannot be ignored, and only argued by them what lie about everything.  Fascists, Communists, and the Democrat Party.

"anti government sentiment?"  I think they mean "anti this  government sentiment."  Hell, you're  dull-witted, unpatriotic, or both if you don't fear and loathe these people.

By the by, I've been re-watching The Revolution on Net Flix.  If you've never watched this 13 episode series,  I most heartedly recommend that you do.  I grew up being a War of Rebellion buff (sometimes called the American Civil War, which it was not), with not much interest by comparison in this period. Watching it led me to read further about George Washington, and I am now convinced that he was providentially sent to us. Or, we were damned lucky in the alternative.  In any event you'll find yourself swelled with pride, which is a good thing to rekindle after these last three years of terror and shame..

Fascists

Stuff You Knew but want to pass on ...
Today's Democrats are Fascists

A rose is a rose
Barack Obama and his minions in the administration as well as many My Coffee GirlDemocrats in the Congress are often described as Socialists, or in the extreme as Marxists.  However, their actions and strategy are straight out of the fascist economic playbook.  They have become the modern reincarnation of the fascist mindset, without the militarism of Italy and Germany, that dominated Europe in the 1920s and '30s.

Over the past seventy years, the left and their allies in the media have succeeded in labeling fascism as a right-wing or conservative philosophy when it in reality was an offshoot of socialism.

As an economic system, fascism is socialism with a capitalistic veneer.  In its day (the 1920's and 1930's), fascism was seen as the happy medium between boom-and-bust-prone capitalism, with its alleged class conflict, wasteful competition, and profit-oriented egoism, and Marxism, with its violent socially divisive prosecution of the bourgeoisie.

Where socialism abolished all market relations outright, fascism left the appearance of market relations while planning all economic activities.  Where socialism abolished money and prices; fascism controlled the monetary system and set all prices and wages politically.  [Emphasis added.]

Under fascism, the state, through official agencies, controlled all aspects of manufacturing, commerce, finance, and agriculture.  Licensing was ubiquitous; no economic activity could be undertaken without government permission.  Levels of consumption were dictated by the state, and "excess" incomes had to be surrendered as taxes or "loans".

To maintain high employment and minimize popular discontent, fascist governments also undertook massive public-works programs financed by steep taxes, borrowing and fiat money creation.  [Emphasis added.]
