Obama's Memo

Hitler's Mustache

Memo outlines Obama’s plan to use the military against citizens

A 2010 Pentagon directive on military support to civilian authorities details what critics say is a troubling policy that envisions the Obama administration's potential use of military force against Americans.

Other agencies with SWAT teams reportedly include the Department of Agriculture, the Railroad Retirement Board, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Office of Personnel Management, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Education Department. [Bill Gertz]
The directive contains noncontroversial provisions on support to civilian fire and emergency services, special events and the domestic use of the Army Corps of Engineers.

The troubling aspect of the directive outlines presidential authority for the use of military arms and forces, including unarmed drones, in operations against domestic unrest.

"This appears to be the latest step in the administration's decision to use force within the United States against its citizens," said a defense official opposed to the directive.

Directive No. 3025.18, "Defense Support of Civil Authorities," was issued Dec. 29, 2010, and states that U.S. commanders "are provided emergency authority under this directive."

"Federal military forces shall not be used to quell civil disturbances unless specifically authorized by the president in accordance with applicable law or permitted under emergency authority," the directive states.

"In these circumstances, those federal military commanders have the authority, in extraordinary emergency circumstances where prior authorization by the president is impossible and duly constituted local authorities are unable to control the situation, to engage temporarily in activities that are necessary to quell large-scale, unexpected civil disturbances" under two conditions.

Hundreds of illegals STORM Cali Border Patrol
Staged

This is raw footage from yesterday as hundreds of illegal immigrants try to cross the Mexican/American border out in California. The border jumpers started throwing bottles and rocks at patrolmen and the crowd had to be dispersed. It really picks up at the 2 min. mark.

Just when I was feeling all happy! Another in the deluge of horror stories we are plagued with daily; not one of which was remotely possible until recently.  Ahem.

Harry Reid's Spawn

Meet the Spawn of Harry Reid's New Senate Rules
Deborah Lee James, of Virginia, to be Secretary of the Air Force.
According to a report in the New York Daily News, “President Obama’s nominee for Secretary of the Air Force was in charge of “corporate responsibility” at defense giant Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) when federal prosecutors arrested two of that company’s executives and several other contractors for fraud in the $700 million CityTime payroll project.
Adding to Tuesday’s confirmation of Patricia Millett to totally shift the D.C. court of appeals to the left is Cornelia “Nina” Pillard. Pillard has said that abortion frees women, pregnancy is like slavery, and abstinence education is unconstitutional because it is “permeated…with sex-based double standards about acceptable male and female sexual behavior.”

She believes abortion is a constitutional right. She is also an advocate of transnational law that threatens our Constitution’s sovereignty. She may be the most radical judge ever nominated to a lifetime seat at the appellate level!

The CityTime scandal involved a technology update for New York City’s payroll and accounting systems, and brought a $500 million dollar fine in penalties and restitution to SAIC – thought to be the largest resolution of contract fraud for a state or municipality ever.  Deborah James was responsible for SAIC oversight at the time, although she was not personally indicted.”

James has no military experience whatsoever but has vast experience living off defense contracts.

These are the kinds of people Barack Obama and the Leftist Democrats want to rule in the courts and establish federal agency policies over the next three years and beyond! (See Liberty Council Connect)

A  New York Times article (Tempers Flare as New Rules Strain Senate) opines:

"What members of both parties bemoaned more than anything was not the lack of civility or bipartisan cooperation —"

Well ex-cuuuuze me, but if anything there is way too much accommodation by Senate Republicans going on.  If they have not figured out by now that Congressional Democrats could be replaced en banc by any Soviet-style Council of People's Commissars, without effect, then they never will and need to be replaced any means possible.   We are engaged in a civil war for chrissake.

More "Show Trial" type military dismissals

'PURGE SURGE': OBAMA FIRES ANOTHER COMMANDER
Naval commanding officer alarmed by 'relentless' attack on Armed Forces

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady referred to additional problems in today’s military including “girly-men leadership [and] medals for not shooting and operating a computer. This president will never fight if there is any reason to avoid it and with a helpless military he can just point to our weakness and shrug his shoulders.”

After multiple top generals described to WND what they regard as a full-scale “purge” of the U.S. military by the Obama administration, the commander of U.S. Army Garrison Japan was summarily relieved of duty and his civilian deputy reassigned, pending a “misconduct” investigation. [Full]

Must we use force?

During a congressional committee hearing about the constitutional limits imposed on the presidency and the implications of President Barack Obama’s disregard for implementing the Affordable Care Act as written, one expert testified that the consequences of the president’s behavior were potentially grave. He said that the precedent set by Obama could eventually lead to an armed revolt against the federal government.

“There is one last thing to which the people can resort if the government does not respect the restrains that the constitution places on the government ...  overthrow it.”

“If the people come to believe that the government is no longer constrained by the laws then they will conclude that neither are they.”

“That is a very dangerous sort of thing for the president to do, to wantonly ignore the laws,” Cannon concluded, “to try to impose obligation upon people that the legislature did not approve.” [Full]

Horry clap! This is a first in my lifetime. Yours too.  In anyone's, I wager. Hearing those words spoken in a public forum. Not just any forum either; the United States Congress.  And I concur.  How arrogant is this man Obama?  This, below, is just a tiny example of his arrogance  that caught my eye about the same time Michael Cannon's words did.

Who was standing behind Obama today? White House won't say

Nineteen people stood behind President Obama on stage in the Executive Office Building Tuesday as the president kicked off a new campaign to promote Obamacare. One of those people, a young Florida woman named Monica Weeks, introduced Obama after telling the story of being struck with Crohn's Disease at age 19 and receiving expensive treatments for several years that were covered by her parents' health care plan — because Obamacare allowed her to remain on that plan until age 26. (I am not making this up)

But Obama never said who those people were, and, unlike other events, the White House did not release their names or biographies. A spokesman later said the White House would not provide the information.

The White House would not provide the information.?!?  Have  I suggested that Obama is an arrogant martinet who acts in every way like someone who wants a fight?  Like, he dares us to remove his government?  It's part of his deal.  Having divided the nation
oh yes he hasthe next step is final, bloody destruction.  Nicolae CeauÈ™escu.  That's who I see.

**Adam Smith (Milton Friedman' Sr.) was a Classical Liberal.

This illustration is a whole education in political economy in a few thousand pixels.

The annotations are significant, but even more so is the geometry through which they're depicted: an expanding sphere of State control, first over our necessities, then over our discretionary activities, and ultimately over the whole of human existence. At each stage, the State's coercive powers are amplified by the importance and scope of the resources it appropriated in the previous stage, such that individuals and voluntary organizations steadily lose all power to resist its further expansion. The Blob wouldn't have had a chance against the State.

I can add only a single observation to this depiction: As the State swells, it ceases to perform any of its functions even marginally well. Indeed, the first functions it will slough are the ones for which we originally agreed to tolerate a pre-indemnified coercive authority: national defense, police protection, and the administration of impartial justice. In the terminal stage of its expansion, when it lays claim to all things and no one outside its corridors may do anything without first asking its permission and paying its price, the State's sole concern becomes the maintenance of its power and the perquisites of its nomenklatura.

This is likely to be a rather hectic day for me, so I doubt I'll be posting anything further until tomorrow. Therefore I urge you one and all, Gentle Readers, to reflect upon the above, and to ask yourselves:

This "anarchy" the State's boosters are always warning me against: Just how bad would it be?

The last coupla days I've been posting from my luxurious hotel room whilst doing other stuff.  Without time to actually format my rage into a post, I kept notes of news items that are so perplexing to me that I scarce comprehend them.  Not that they occurred.  That this Administration from Hell is still operating.  At the very least I would have (several years ago, anyway) expected  that rogue patriot F-16 pilots would have reduced Federal Hill to a dung heap.

ACLU: Millions of Innocent Drivers Being Tracked

You know about speed cameras and red-light cameras. But did you know about plate-reading cameras? Few people do, and that's a worry for the ACLU, which says the cameras are infringing on our civil liberties. Unlike the speed and red-light cameras, which are activated only when someone violates a traffic law, plate cameras photograph every license plate that goes by. Vehicles are instantly IDed then checked against cars associated with crimes, the Washington Post reports. The problem, says the ACLU, is that the license plate info is being stored, creating huge databases of motorists and where they travel—even though more...(ACLU)

DOJ Refuses to Prosecute Case of 'Willful' Tax Records Access

The Justice Department refused to act after being presented with evidence that a government official had "willfully" accessed private tax documents, it was reported Tuesday. The evidence against the person was laid out in a letter from J. Russell George, the Internal Revenue Service inspector general. He told top Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley he did not know why Justice had not acted, The Washington Times reports. "We presented evidence of a willful unauthorized access to the Department of Justice, but the case was declined for prosecution," George wrote in a letter to Grassley. George said there was evidence of three...

President Obama Criticizes Catholic Education

Res Ipsa Loquitor

And the reason for his criticism?  Are you ready?  Gird your loins.

During a speech yesterday in Belfast, President Barack Obama criticized Catholic education, suggesting that it’s harmful to national unity.

“If towns remain divided—if Catholics have their schools and buildings and Protestants have theirs, if we can’t see ourselves in one another and fear or resentment are allowed to harden—that too encourages division and discourages cooperation,” said the President, during his Northern Ireland Visit for the G8 summit.

"... encourages division and discourages cooperation..."

Are you kidding me. It is not arguable that this provocateur president is the most divisive political influence in our history; more so than even the Clintons.  The stack of arrogance this blue-lipped fly brings to the table is so over the top that his removal from office is now mandatory.  He is a Stage Five Melanoma on the body politic.  I say this in full knowledge that, and because, his government can and does read our e-mail while we're typing it.  His very existence cause millions to wonder whether they have in fact died and been sent to Hell! Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu, whose impeachment is an on-point exemplar, were Welcome Wagon compared to this lot.

NEWS FROM THE FRONT

A government report reveals testing in Oklahoma of drones with sensors that can find people and even tell if you are carrying a weapon. It's happening at a remote site near Fort Sill.

The publication Homeland Security Today says the testing is taking place at the Oklahoma Training Center for Unmanned Systems operated by Oklahoma State University. The group doing the work is "a trusted agent" of the federal government. [full]

Only mass demonstrations will help now.  Actions that depend on an informed nation who will, almost spontaneously, rise and threaten  government at the local and national level.   That scenario pretty much describes the early Tea Party, and  more than explains the irrational response from Democrats to it.  I say irrational because what scared all of them were  people who, while angry,  civilly confronted elected Democrats with questions at town meetings; questions they could not answer.

Historically this type of revolt are led by the young; the college students who understand through class discussion and assembly the nature and magnitude of the threat.  So much for that.

Let me confess here that I was among those who initially  applauded the Bush Administration's sharp reaction after 9-11.  The  restructuring of  national security services into The Department of Homeland Security.  The very name made me cringe, but yes, I was a cheerleader for this  smothering blanket  of government control over every aspect of our lives.

Whether by bad luck or contrivance,  Barry Obama inherited that infrastructure   Homeland Security  have become Obama's promised "private army," and we are in his thrall. That leaves us with but one option;—throw them all down a volcano.  Sigh.  A nasty business that will be, but necessary.

At Home With ISLAMOS

“Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia,” Guandolo told interviewer and radio host Tom Trento.

“That fact alone is not what is most disturbing,” Guandolo continued. “His conversion to Islam was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him. The fact that foreign intelligence service operatives recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. government position in a foreign country means that he either a traitor … [or] he has the inability to discern and understand how to walk in those kinds of environments, which makes him completely unfit to the be the director of Central Intelligence.”

Sometimes governments start out as gangs; strong men with brutish followers who simply want to toss out the aging mustache Petes, and take the gold, glory, and girls for themselves.  Those that do start out with noble intentions often (always?) transmute into gangs anyway, corrupted by the intoxication of power, and losing sight of the original goal.

Today’s US government meet many of the criteria that define a gang.  It has one strong, charismatic leader who intimidates, lies, coerces, bribes, ridicules, and proscribes all who dare oppose him.  Of course politics have always been a blood sport, frequently operating like a Mafia family,  but far less efficiently.   Like every corrupt government, ours is now like an onion—as layers are peeled, the smell gets stronger.

We’re careening along a one-way street, heading for a major pileup at the intersection of Deficit Spending Boulevard and Common Sense Avenue.  Even if we can find a way around that traffic jam, we’ll encounter a free-for-all melee at the entrance to the Fiscal Solvency Freeway, which will very likely misdirect us to a wrong-way on-ramp.

Our powerful V-8 SUV is firing on 4 cylinders and running out of Canadian petrol.  The fighter-bomber is experiencing major electrical problems and losing air speed.  The ship of state has had a gyrocompass tumble, can’t read its navigational charts, and is taking on water faster than Rose O'Donnell takes on a bag of supersized fries.

Hey, how 'bout this:  why don’t we just give the pilot another shot at getting us home safely?  Yeah, that oughta work.  I mean, after all, he’s really an articulate and likable homey who went to Harvard.

Thanks Ron, you speak for a lot of people who send similar thoughts.  So, what's the answer?  Is there one that does'nt involveyou know?  Something awful?   I've always blamed the people in  third world countries for allowing their leaders to terrorize them; keep them in poverty.  I can't do less here.  Either we are of a mind to make corrections, or we are not.

Drone on

In early 2012 the U.S. Congress authorized the FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act. Within this bill is a provision calling for the deployment of some 30,000 robotic drones over the skies of America by 2015, arguably the boldest overt domestic surveillance initiative to have ever been introduced in the land of the free. With an average of some 600 drones allocated per state, this future network of highly advanced surveillance systems promises to give law enforcement, military and intelligence assets unprecedented video and audio access into the lives of every single American.

"Vice President Joe Biden’s gun policy recommendations to President Barack Obama will likely include universal background checks, new regulations on high-capacity magazines, and using a federal agency to compile data about gun-related deaths, he said Thursday.

After speaking with his bi-partisan advisory board for  Sane Gun Policy (photo), Biden said that he had 'committed' to Obama to pass along his recommendations by next Tuesday." My panel overwhelmingly  recommends using the Executive Order to save us before it's too late. "The Right Wing NRA nuts and the GOP House have terrorized us long enough."

Made a quick stop at my favorite firearms shop today ...

Res Ipsa Loquitor

A priest and a rabbi came in to the shop to look at CCL Firearms. The owner of the store waited on them personally, determined exactly what their needs and comfort levels were and made a couple of great recommendations. Both made purchases.
If this didn’t come from long-time correspondent, photographer, reporter, bumper sticker aficionado, and music impresario Danelle, I wouldn’t believe it.
The owner comped both men free memberships to the local range as well as lessons.

Before I left, I gave my salesman a list of pistols and rifles that I would be interested in acquiring in the near future – He added it to their very long list of orders. [Legal Insurrection- Full]
