I'm not a smart man, cuzzin Jenny ...

My Little Study May Well Explain Lib-O's Voting in the U.S.:
Fact: The U.S. is the only Western country with restrictions against marriage between cousins.

Fact: The U.S. is the only Western country with restrictions against marriage between cousins.

From; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cousin_marriage
"Cousin marriage is marriage between cousins (i.e. people with common grandparents or people who share other fairly recent ancestors). Opinions and practice vary widely across the world. In some cultures and communities, cousin marriage is considered ideal and actively encouraged; in others, it is subject to social stigma. Cousin marriage is common in the Middle East, for instance, where it accounts for over half of all marriages in some countries."
That last sentence explains a lot. But - Please, allow me explain that further; It is a traditional idea that cousin and sibling marriages are a Southern thing here in the U.S. - That's not absolutely true! And I'll prove it with statistics.

So I decided to do a study of my own to not only discount that old Southern stigma but to show what the political persuasion of the "Genetically & Generational Unmodified" really is.

I intend to show that the latest state-by-state law data shows that the 18 states who turn a "blind eye" towards cousin marriages are usually the most politically Liberal.  I used those same 18 state's voting records during the 2016 presidential election; cross referenced those two data sources, calculated the probabilities and factored in that data to reach a "scientific" conclusion:

The 18 state's of "Acceptance" - [(D) or (R), their 2016 electoral votes and party vote majorities]:

1) Alabama (R) - 9 by 27.7%
2) Alaska (R) - 3 by 14.7%
3) California (D) - 55 by 30.1%
4) Colorado (D) - 9 by 4.9%
5) Connecticut (D) - 7 by 13.7%
6) Florida (R) - 29 by 1.2%
7) Georgia (R) - 16 by 5.2%
8) Hawaii (D) - 4 by 32.2%
9) Maryland (D) - 10 by  26.4%
10) Massachusetts (D) - 11 by 27.2%
11) New Jersey (D) - 14 by 14.1%
12) New Mexico (D) - 5 by 8.2%
13) New York (D) - 29 by 22.5%
14) North Carolina (R) - 15 by 3.6%
15) Rhode Island (D) - 4 by 15.5%
16) Tennessee (R) - 11 by 26%
17) Vermont (D) - 3 by 25.4%
18) Virginia (D) - 13 by 5.3%

Summary:
  1. 6 of the "in-bred acceptance states" voted for Trump in 2016 by an average of 13.0%
  2. 12 of the "in-bred acceptance states" voted for Clinton in 2016 by an average of 18.8%

Which only proves (Somehow) that the genetically inbred acceptance states are more likely to vote Democratic by almost 6% than those who have laws against cousin marriages.

HEY! It's about as "Scientific" as most of the polls and studies that I have been reading about Trump's popularity and probably more accurate.

Cantwell Scalped

                                                                     Catharsis

It’s easy to see both sides of this issue. Having seen it, most Americans think that the Washington Redskins should keep their name, despite its past usage as a racist slur against Native Americans. What’s more, most Native Americans think the NFL team should keep their name. Quoting CBS News: “In 2004, the National Annenberg Election Survey asked 768 people who identified themselves as Indian whether they found the name ‘Washington Redskins’ offensive. Almost 90 percent said it did not bother them.”

That didn’t stop Senator Maria Cantwell, a Democrats from Seattle … a white Democrat from Seattle … a rich, white Democrat from Seattle from jumping feet first into the issue.

Agree or disagree with Cantwell or the Redskins, what BuzzPo dearly loves is seeing a sentient, sovereign, free human being stand up to a cloying, pernicious politician who has, oh, about 17 trillion other priorities she should be focusing on before this. Dig Dan Snyder, the Redskins owner and his statement: ““Senator Cantwell should be aware that there are many challenges facing Native Americans, including an extremely cold winter with high energy bills, high unemployment, life threatening health problems, inadequate education and many other issues more pressing than the name of a football team which has received strong support from Native Americans … Surely, with all the issues Congress is supposed to work on such as the economy, jobs, war and health care, the Senator must have more important things to do.” [BuzzPro]

Like dealing with the Taliban ...

    Targeting John Roberts
The Senate Taliban try to intimidate the High Court on ObamaCare.

Res Ipsa Loquitur

You can tell the Supreme Court is getting closer to its historic ObamaCare ruling because the left is making one last attempt to intimidate the Justices. The latest effort includes taunting Chief Justice John Roberts that if the Court overturns any of the law, he'll forever be defined as a partisan "activist."

Senate Judiciary Chairman Pat Leahy recently took the extraordinary step of publicly lobbying the Chief Justice after oral argument but before its ruling. "I trust that he will be a Chief Justice for all of us and that he has a strong institutional sense of the proper role of the judicial branch," the Democrat declared on the Senate floor. "The conservative activism of recent years has not been good for the Court."

He added that, "Given the ideological challenge to the Affordable Care Act and the extensive, supportive precedent, it would be extraordinary for the Supreme Court not to defer to Congress in this matter that so clearly affects interstate commerce." [Full]

Let's hope the justices have extra bodyguards detailed to them.  Ahem.  Not  joking.
