This fitbit sleep chart basically said to me: "Keep your mouth shut until you recharge, moron" Ahem.  Spent a day and a half without reading the news. Taped, but did not watch, the Terps game against Wisconsin yesterday, so was able to erase it before it did any real harm.  What game?  Slept like  a baby last night.  Life is good.

I have to admit one thing --- our Friday guest stopped in Delaware (no sales tax) and bought some big-ass MAC, that was still in the box— she brought it in so it wouldn't be stolen form the car—  and an iPad.  Since the iPad came with zero  written directions, she asked me to  figure out how to get out of the "airplane mode" she was stuck in, and hook her up to my wireless.  In the process of learning how to do all this (first one I'd held in my grubby little hands) I became envious.  There was a day when I'd have been first on the block to own one, but those days are gone.  Right now I just want a fricken toaster that will toast a bagel in less than 3 minutes, and the muscles to chop wood at a decent rate.

.Some will have noted that my posting is down.  After a series of long negotiations (with MoSup's blessing, PayPal income  is way, way down)   with a very rich, but impotent and sterile arab sheik, I have been hired to procreate with up to 3500 of his 5000 concubines.  It's a tough job, but the money is good for male progeny (girls not so much).  I sleep a lot. Some of them are sort of plain looking.

My Take on Last Night’s Republican Debate Here’s my take on the debate last night. Perry looked like he was struggling to remember his lines but couldn’t quite do it. Romney looked like he could remember his lines since he’s been practicing in the mirror for the past four years. Gingrich looked like he didn’t need lines. He is just going to riff anyway. Bachmann had lines, but unfortunately they were all from the movie Fargo. For some reason, Cain finished all his lines with, “That dog won’t hunt,” which is ironic because he neither has a dog nor hunts. Huntsman was struggling to hold onto his script. His hands were slippery from all the Coppertone. Gary Johnson from New Mexico had a nervous twitch and kept thinking to himself, “Dude, I’m on TV.” Santorum had a good script but he was put out that he actually had to answer questions. And Ron Paul refused all scripts because they are not specifically mentioned in the Constitution. Merrily
