Obama Forever

This has been all over the Honduran and Central American press for more than 24 hours but, as Alberto de la Cruz of Babalu Blog points out, no English speaking wire service or media has picked up on it yet.

Authorities seized several computers used by former president Zelaya that contained "official" results of the constitutional referendum that was never held showing his bid to change the law so that he could run for office again winning easily.

A year ago, it was inconceivable that the POTUSA could fire the CEO of GM. Welcome to the Twilight Zone.

Coincidentally, Robert Gibbs was asked about this very matter during his Monday press briefing:

Q Does the President support New York Democrat Congressman Jose Serrano's House joint resolution number five? (Laughter.)

MR. GIBBS: This is to serve more — this is for two terms? Is that the –

Q That's right.

This is quite an awkward statement from Gibbs ..

"I think the President is firmly in support of an amendment that would limit his time in the presidency to eight years if he's given that awesome responsibility by the American people."

Because, by ending with "if he's given that awesome responsibility by the American people," it only makes sense if he said "... firmly in support of an amendment that wouldn't limit ... ."

How else he's even given the awesome responsibility?

Gibbs should just have his first name legally changed to "The Hapless." What a dolt.

Zero is lucky he's going to have ONE term in office! That's more than he has earned, more than he is qualified for and more than the country can endure!
