Cartoon seems to link Obama to dead chimp New York Post is standing behind cartoon some consider racist

This cartoon image provided by the New York Post appeared in the Post's Page Six on Wednesday. The cartoon, which refers to Travis the chimp, who was shot to death by police in Stamford, Conn. on Monday after it mauled a friend of its owner, drew criticism.

This is funny as hell -- if you're not looking to be offended, which is to say you're not a whining Liberal.  I see a cartoon showing the Scamulus Bill for what it is ... a piece of nonsensical, useless crap only someone with the IQ of a lower primate would execute. As far as Sharpton's "stunned" rage -- yawn³.  See if you can find Rev. Race Bait being stunned by any one of the pointedly racist cartoons the Left penned about Condi Rice.

Elected democrats, hereafter called lying MFCS, have contemplated various absurd back-door assaults on the Second Amendement for years.  A  five dollar Health Care tax on every bullet has been bandied about, now Illinois has a new gimmick. “   Democrat Proposes Law Requiring Firearm Owners Have $1,000,000 Insurance Policies Infowars Monday, Feb 16, 2009 Illinois — the land of Obama and the Blagojevich mafia — is serious about making the Second Amendment so expensive only the rich will be able to exercise it. Kenneth Dunkin, a former social worker and Democrat member of the Illinois House of Representatives, has introduced HB0687, entitled the “Firearm Owners ID-Insurance” bill. It is currently in the Rules Committee. Dunkin’s bill amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act, a previous bill aimed at chipping away at the Second Amendment. Dunkin’s amendment states “that any person who owns a firearm in this State shall maintain a policy of liability insurance in the amount of at least $1,000,000 specifically covering any damages resulting from negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is owned by such person.” A million dollars! President Obama stakes so much on a package unlikely to revive our economy

It's of some significance, I think, that Maryland's fishwrap of record, The Sun, prints this OP ED analysis of the Stimulus  charade. “ Politically, President Barack Obama seems to have dashed many of his major thematic campaign promises in his very first foray into large-scale policymaking. The crafting and selling of the stimulus package haven't been transparent, innovative, calm or bipartisan. The rush to push money out quickly left no time to develop creative new approaches. The president's dire warnings of doom did little to soothe fears, particularly in those who had doubts about the stimulus package's efficacy. And while Mr. Obama was willing to exchange pleasantries with Republicans, those Republicans were largely excluded from the crafting of the bill and voted overwhelmingly against it. Even Mr. Obama's hand-picked "reasonable" Republican, Judd Gregg, found the process unpalatable and withdrew as commerce secretary nominee. ” My guess?  A sleepy Sun editor saw "President Obama ... revives our economy" and gave it a green light.
