The
Handgun Club of America
offers the timeline in .pdf format. It's viewable online or
down-loadable. . First, Obama's antipathy for gunowners is well documented.
I'm convinced it's for the same reason any despot dislikes citizens
with guns, but that's really beside the point. The really short story
of what happened is contained in the opening paragraphs of HCA's
document.

You will recall that shortly after President
Obama took office in 2009,
the administration launched a loud push to reinstate the so-called
"assault weapons" ban. This was a coordinated effort between and
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Attorney General Eric Holder to
mislead and deceive the American public. As
justification for the ban,
they claimed that 90% of the military-style weapons used in the drug
cartel wars in Mexico were coming from the USA, from southern border
gun shops.
It didn't take long for many people to determine this was at best a
case of bad math or an outright lie. We know now, thanks to uncovered
government documents, that both Justice and the State Department knew
full well that 90% of the arms in Mexico were coming, not from north of
the Mexican border, but south— from Central America. In addition, the
government knew that some of the arms the U.S. Government legally sold
to the Mexican military were ending up in the hands of the drug cartels.

Obama to Holder— Fix
those numbers
Obama rather famously changes, creates, or
destroys documents as suits him, so in effect he here commanded Eric
Holder to " fix those numbers." Now there's this.
BREAKING:
A second “Gun
walking” scandal is developing in the Tampa ATF field office. It
appears that the Tampa field division had it’s own version of Operation
Fast and Furious, letting guns “walk” into Honduras in Central
America. Tampa’s Operation Castaway mirrors the debacle in
Phoenix.
Did I say these are really, really bad people? Brit Hume calls
Obama "Nixonian" We should be so lucky. "Hitlarian"
is spot-on.
