This is one of the many reasons I can't stand federal bureaucracies. They are as bad as insurance companies.

After I discovered that citizens are not allowed to lie to law enforcement under penalty of law, but that law enforcement was allowed to lie to citizens without penalty, I've pretty much believed that anything said by any government worker was a big honkin' lie, unless I could personally verify it.

Back to the Leftist Creed: Laws are to be followed only when expedient for the Ruling Class.
The ballot might cure it, might not, but only as a first step. There must also be drastic consequences for abuse of authority and trust; e.g., Sandy Bergler, Jamie Gorelick, Franklin Raines, Jim Johnson should still be in prison. John Walker and his fellow travellers of the same era should be long dead instead of wasting taxpayer money feeding them. Until such punishment is swift and sure, until the Left is made to feel consequences for their behavior, the Left will thumb their noses at the law as mere suggestions. They knowingly take advantage of a good and generous people and their open system of government and culture.

Teh Won got elected by using the law to expose(?) the records of his opponents, even sealed divorce proceedings. You think he won't 'adjust' those record?

This is as close to blasphemy as you can have relating to people and their government.
